This course introduces the basic theory of reliability analysis and its application, and applies statistical concepts to the risk analysis of civil engineering.

  1. Students will be able to understand and interpret probabilistic characterization of uncertainty in Civil Engineering

  2. Students will be able to assess reliability for engineering systems.

  3. Students will be able to use reliability analysis to support decision-making
